My husband was adament he wanted the chameleon, I was put off by the price tag, but he was smitten with the design and ease of steering. I had an emergency section, so it was an absolute god send in the early days as it was so easy and light to push. I also liked it as a travel system as my baby had the comfort to stretch out in the carrycot, but was as easy to steer as a three wheeler. I also like the fact that it can face both ways. I think this was the only travel system which fitted all of my criteria, as well as looking extremely stylish.
On the downside, it is near impossible to access the basket when it is in pram mode. The diaper bag is a design nightmare. The zip is too small and you have to empty everything out of it to find something. In the early days we took the bag out with us religously but it weighs the pram down! Now I take everything I need in a large handbag and only use the bag if out for the whole day, so a complete waste of £70!
It is really difficult to collapse at first and brought me to tears. I was on the brink of throwing it away and buying a £50 buggy from Mothercare! I had to have a half hour lesson from my husband! But now I can do it even quicker than him.
It is indeed a head turner and my son loves it. We have a three wheeler all terrain for dog walking and you can definitely tell the difference! The bugaboo is great for shopping, we live in a town with really narrow pavements and shops with narrow aisles and it has been an absolute godsend.

"Ticked all my boxes!"
I had a real dilemma when it came to buying a pram for my 3rd child. I knew I would be having a c-section so it had to be lightweight and easy to maneouvre. I also spend a lot of time outdoors as we have horses, so the baby needed to be kept snug and warm in a "proper pram", which also had to be able to cope with all terrains. I could not be happier with my Cameleon. It does everything I could want it to. The shopping basket fits your basics in and I don't find it any more hassle than other buggies I have had. Sure it isn't as simple as the big trays you have under the big prams, but then you don't have the drawbacks of the big prams either. I have the Denim Ltd Edition Cameleon and have yet to see another one when I am out and about, but I see other colours and I have to say, I think they all look smart.
My Cameleon goes in and out of my car approximately 6-8 times a day, and 12 weeks on stil looks great. The folding mechanism does take a little getting used to, but again, you would have to learn how to operate any new pram, so this is nothing new.
All round I am glad I chose my Bugaboo. It handles the mud and off-roading it needs to when I am out with the horse or dog, and still looks smart when I am in town. My DP happily pushes it as the handles adjust height-wise, and it doesn't look too "girly". I didn't buy the Bugaboo bag as they didn't do a denim one, and I preferred the OiOi range, and I am yet to try any of the summer accessories, but I can't find any part of my 2007 Denim Bugaboo Cameleon I don't like!

"Simply the best"
I'm at a total lose as to how anyone can fault this buggy. Yes the price tag is totally over the top but once you have used it for a few days you realise why you paid the money. I ended up with a ECS and this was a godsend because I could still take my princess out for a walk (even if it was round the grove!). It's light and very flexible.
As for difficulty putting it up or down, I had mastered that within the day. The buttons do stick but if you hold the handle as far back as it will go the lift the buttons then it works everytime.
The basket is useless when the carry cot is on and that did annoy me at first but I never had much to carry and if I did I just put it in my bag or hung if off of the handle.
The accessories are overpriced but you can use alternatives that are just as nice.
I'm lucky that there aren't many around where I live but when I'm in London everyone has them so I'd have to look for an alternative. But definetly the best on the market. I won't be looking any further for my next child.
